Injectables & Dermal Fillers

Training Courses for

Doctors, would you like to put years of medical training and hard work into an industry where you could more than double your current income? If the answer is yes, then read on to discover more in our Injectables & Dermal Fillers Training Courses for Doctors and how we can help you train and work in an industry worth over $2,716 million in Europe.

It’s no great secret that doctors are some of the hardest-working professionals in Ireland. We work tirelessly, often through long and unsociable hours. Training programs after university are increasingly competitive and extend over many years until you reach the end. But too often, we don’t get the opportunity to work in the departments or disciplines we trained so hard for. Junior Doctors have also faced changes to their contracts impacting pay, hours and working conditions. It’s no wonder that some doctors are becoming tired of the HSE and are looking for new career opportunities.

Although many doctors love their roles, many also want better job security, flexibility and better standards of pay and recognition for their efforts. Injectables and Dermal Fillers training courses offer doctors a great career opportunity. It’s possible to work part-time alongside your existing role or change your career path and specialize in facial aesthetics full-time. You will learn all about different ways to supplement your income in aesthetics in our courses.

We specialise in Injectables & Dermal Fillers Training Courses for Doctors. We will give you everything you need to get started in our Derma Medical Masterclasses. All our courses have been designed to meet the latest HEE Guidelines and GMC Guidance to ensure practitioners are ahead of regulation.

After our course, you can get cosmetic indemnity insurance through our course sponsors, Hamilton Fraser or Cosmetic Insure and start practising immediately.

Why Doctors Should Train in Aesthetics

1) Higher Income

Hour-for-hour as an Aesthetic doctor (either self-employed or working for a clinic), you can expect to earn far more than you would as a locum doctor. It is easily possible to double your current salary and pay back the large debts from many years of medical school.

2) Better Quality of Life

Many of the doctors we have trained have reported enjoying a much better quality of life – working more sociable hours with happier, more satisfied patients. In comparison to their hospital jobs, they also report increased job satisfaction resulting from having more autonomy in a less-pressured environment.

3) Develop New Clinical Skills

Doctors are very well suited to this field because they have good transferable skills. Although mainly cosmetic, some injectables can be used for medical use such as treatments of hyperhidrosis, migraines and bruxism.

4) Keeping Options Open

As a junior doctor, finances can become a struggle. Facial Aesthetics can be a great part-time opportunity to pay off debts from university and fund a better-quality lifestyle. For senior doctors stuck in non-progressive trust-grade jobs, aesthetics offers an alternative option for work. Once trained you will have the freedom to work for a cosmetic practice or open up your own clinic.

Getting Started as a Cosmetic Doctor

Our Derma Medical Masterclasses will empower you with pioneering techniques covering in-depth anatomy and theory followed by plenty of hands-on practical training on live models in a real-life clinical setting.

Delegates should be comfortable with the foundation injection techniques before attending this course and ready to take their clinical skills to the next level.

You will receive training certificates allowing you to get cosmetic indemnity insurance with either of the two leading insurers – Hamilton Fraser and Cosmetic Insure. Both recognise our course and are able to offer cover to Doctors trained by us.

As a prescribing doctor you can practice independently. F1 doctors who cannot yet prescribe can buddy up with local prescribers or use a prescriber service and are still able to train and administer Injectables and Dermal Fillers.

Aesthetic Doctors are highly sort after by cosmetic clinics and you will find many part-time and full-time job opportunities available. We will give you an exclusive list of job opportunities on the course to help you find work straight after training.

Many doctors dream of opening their own clinic. We will give you lots of business and marketing advice on the course so that you can turn the dream into a reality. Our Team of Doctors have years of experience running their own Harley Street clinics in the UK and can offer you invaluable advice in getting started.
